Vocalist Jeffrey Allan Sawatzky was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. He received his formal vocal training in Winnipeg, MB and Toronto, ON.
Jeff has performed across Canada with a variety of choral and vocal groups in venues such as the Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto, Centre in the Square in Kitchener-Waterloo, Centennial Concert Hall in Winnipeg and the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
He has been very active entertaining hometown crowds, performing various roles with musical and theatre groups. Audiences have also enjoyed watching and listening to Jeff in concert with the one and only Rory Allen. As a lifelong Rider fan, Jeff is proud to be the official national anthem singer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Most recently, Jeff has turned his attention to his solo career and he has performed for special events, fundraising concerts and corporate functions right in his home province as well as internationally.
Jeff received national recognition from the Canadian Gospel Music Association at the 2009 Covenant Awards where his debut CD 'Fields of Gold' was named the Classical/Traditional Album of the Year. This collection of original romantic ballads and inspirational classics sung in English, Italian and Spanish has been recorded entirely in Saskatchewan with an outstanding group of musicians including guitar virtuoso Jack Semple and members of the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
His genuine belief that song is truly meant to touch people is what is at the heart of his performances.
